Born - March 28
I grew up in church. I was baptized when I was little. God changed my life on March 4, 2011, when I realized that being saved meant more than being religious. I pray that God uses me to help students realize the truths of the Gospel.
Education - Working on it… I graduated from Jefferson High School in 2014. I spent three years at Liberty University studying Biology my freshman year, and then, after deciding to follow God’s leading in my life, I switched my major to Biblical studies. I am now living at home with my parents (more on them later…) and will finish my degree through Leavell College (New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Undergraduate College) studying Christian Ministry with minors in Pastoral Ministry and Youth Ministry.
Ministry Experience –
2014-2016 Prayer and Life Group Leader (Liberty University’s name for the students who lead small groups and disciple peers on their halls)
2016-2017 Resident Shepherd – Liberty University’s name for residence hall chaplain (think Residential Assistant (RA) but for spiritual life). I loved this ministry. As a chaplain, I got to disciple and minister to the guys on my hall. I also had the privilege of leading, discipling, and serving with the Prayer and Life Group Leaders on my hall.
Family – My mom (Amy) and dad (Jeff) are AWESOME! If it wasn’t for them I would not be here – in more ways than one. My sister (Lizzy) is a great friend and encourager. My fiancé, Emily, is truly a blessing and my best friend. We have been dating for 5 years (yes, we are high school sweethearts!), and it has been awesome seeing God work in our lives.
Life Verse - But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved! Ephesians 2:4-5
