I'm sure you would agree with me when I say "Life is Hard".
Sometimes we find ourselves in circumstances we did not ask for, such as hurts from divorce, or abuse, or from a loss of a loved one, or from what someone did to us. Perhaps we suffer from depression or from a physical illness -- none of which we asked for.
Sometimes, we struggle with those things we had a lot to do with - through the choices we made, such as addictions to work/career, food, sex or drugs and alcohol. Perhaps we struggle with materialism and everything and everybody around us seems to be falling apart.
Whatever the life issue, we at MBC are convinced God wants you to have victory! That's why we offer Celebrate Recovery at MBC. We have been so privileged to see God work in the lives of people – people whose lives and relationship with Christ was once broken, are now restored! Others that thought they were saved – now are!
One of the biggest lies of Satan is that you are the only one who has the struggle you have. This is simply that –a lie. The truth is, we all have struggles – some are large enough to hinder or totally stifle our relationship with God.
James 5:16 in part says, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” We in CR are here to come alongside you, to support you, to pray for and with you, to encourage and challenge you – to listen! We are not here to judge you… We are all just sinners saved by the wonderful and amazing Grace of God!
